Amerens got here late last night and has settled in well already. We LOVE her!!!!!! My trainer just got here and she is soooo impressed. She has made friends with another little mare and they are currently playing in the indoor. She's even cuter in person than in her pictures, if that's possible. Thanks so much!! We look forward to you coming out for a visit soon. Bob Hardy was great, he kept us informed on how Amerens was doing and their eta. We appreciate all of your help.

Amerens LF was born May 2, 2008. Her dam, Maaike is a first premie star mare that we imported laster year (when she was already in foal to Onne 376 with Amerens).
Onne 376 was the World Champion stallion in Holland in 2008. It is not easy to get a filly sired by Onne 376 in the USA. They are EXTREMELY rare here.

Our vet thinks Amerens will mature to at least 16.2 and she'll have a VERY long mane and forelock like her mom. Her legs are so long, she is the same height at her back as our 2 year old.

She leads well, is good for the farrier and wears a blanket with no troubles. She had absolutely no reaction the first time I put the blanket on her and I expect the same when she has a saddle on her for the first time. She is very independant and not afraid to venture away from the herd to be on her own so I think she'll make a great riding horse. When we had her dam rebred, Amerens had a huge fan club at the vet's stable. Everyone used to go in and groom her and play with her. Her attitude is just remarkable- she's 100 percent friendly and sweet.

Amerens LF already has her USEF lifetime horse registration # and her FHANA yellow paper.
She has not been to a keuring but is registered with FHANA and microchipped.
