Anke is a 9 year old 1st premie
star mare by the recently deceased Heinse 354.
She had a filly by Rintse in 2007
and that filly got a 1st premium and keuring champion as a foal!
Anke was put under saddle in Holland
as a four year old and ridden for
two years. She is not a horse
for a beginner rider, based on her
nervousness while in the arena.
Trail riding should be fine, the owners have taken her out a few times
last year and she seemed to enjoy it. She is not being sold as a riding
horse though since she hasn't been ridden much in the last year and the
price reflects that. She would indeed make a
lovely dressage horse if a person
could get her retrained a bit. Her gaits
are fabulous and her canter is
a highlight. She would just need the right
person and she would likely blossom.
On the ground she has impeccable
manners for everything, shots, farrier ect
ect She LOVES people, typical Friesian,
and is very much in your pocket. She
gets along with other horses well
too.
