Congratulations to Christine, of Sisters, Oregon! Ariel is now at her new home!: I just wanted to let you know that she is home and safe. She was so good loading in the trailer I was so proud of her. She has a couple of hairless spots around here eyes from the ride home, other than that she did so well. She settled right in here like shes been here forever. She LOVES LOVES the goats and they love her just the same. She is very calm walking around and will come over to the gate when you call her but she is really bonded already with the goats. We are going this weekend to pick up a pony that will also be a pasture buddy for her. Im so proud of her. She is very quiet and is doing better than I expected for her first day here. Thanks so much for all your help. Well see you at the keuring. 
Ariel, dam Hanne, and Christine, the day she fell for Ariel. Ariel LF was born April 16, 2008. Her dam, Hanne van Sanne, is a beautiful 1st premie star mare. Her sire, Piter 312, recently passed away- a real tragedy because he was making a huge comeback due to breeders realizing that they need more of his offspring. Piter 312 was only available to mares in Holland, so Ariel's breeding is very very unique. About
her sire: Piter was approved in 1991, as well as his halfbrother
Pike (Ygram x Lammert). The first year he was at stud at the Bos family
in St. Anthonis, the second year at the Toonen family in Maren-Kessel.
But he spent most of his life at Stal Wijdewormer with the Constant family.
Piter was bred by Mr. J. Wolterink from Harreveld. His mom Redia (Tsjalling)
is from the Prinses stam 19 and goes via the modelmare Landsdochter (Bouke)
back to Landsvrouwe model/preferent (Age). The influences of the Tsjalling-
and Bouke blood explain the classical look of a lot of Piter offspring.
Although he left us a nice collection of good dressagehorses, with a very
good walk and a lot of 'thrive' from behind in trot. The Piter's are often
very deepblack with beautiful heads, lots of mane and feathers and a very
good working mentality. His most famous daughter is Aukje Boszorg model/preferent,
multiple Esbeek champion and mother to two (!) modeldaughters. Piter's
only approved son (so far) was Bearend. But maybe he has another chance
of getting a son approved in Mathijs H. (ds Leffert), selected for the
Autumn testing in Ermelo!
Ariel is going to be a beautiful baroque style mare with lots of hair. Her
motherline is: Star-Star-Stb-Stb, very good. If she makes star, then
