Legacy Friesians update:  Haeke got STAR gelding at the 2005 keuring in Sherwood Oregon on Sept 23 2005!!!!  The judges loved his conformation and movement!!!!!  Soon after the keuring, Haeke was sold and moved to his new home in California, to be with his loving owner Shaun.  Here is what Shaun had to say about her experience with Legacy Friesians:

"My BEAUTIFUL, Friesian, Haeke, arrived here at his new "home" yesterday. He traveled well and walked off the trailer as if he knew where he was. The hauler unloaded him clear across the property from the barn, and he casually walked to his stall without hesitating once. He is a "Perfect Gentlemen"! He has been the star of the show since he arrived. Nothing bothers him, tarps blowing in the wind, dogs, roosters. He stands in the cross ties, picks up his awesome feet the first time you ask, stands still for his shower, patiently and carefully walks beside me into his stall, lowers his head for his fly mask, allows me to spray him all over with fly spray, and absolutely adores his face to be hugged and kissed. This boy does nothing wrong. But the icing on the cake, is when he steps into the arena, and picks up the trot. It is absolutely BREATHTAKING!!! I can't believe he's mine! Thank you Sue, and Megan (Haeke's trainer), to me, he truly is the most incredible Friesian ever !! Buying a horse is always stressful, but this transaction with Legacy Friesians has been one of the most pleasurable experiences I have ever had. Phone calls were always answered or returned promptly, questions answered, and they could not have been more accommodating. I would recommend Legacy Friesians to my family, to my friends, and to anyone without any hesitation. They have been totally honest and incredibly fair, even when there was definitely opportunity not to be. This business will truly flourish, because they do what it takes !!"

Update, March, 2006:  He's been such a good boy!  Everybody loves him, even other trainer's grooms, stop to say hi to him. He learns so fast, and is so well behaved. No one can believe he's only 3!! I ride him at least three times a week, it's been a little hard with the rain though.
