Update: After Arrival
Hi Susan-Haijs is here safe and sound.  He was so glad to get out of the trailer and he ran and pranced in the snow.  He is so so so beautiful. I am going to give him a little time to get used to everything.  His eyes got pretty big when he saw the elk.  Thank you so much for the use of the saddle and bridle.  I am planning on riding him this week-end, but we'll see what the weather does.  Thank you for all of your help in getting him here.  Paul was great.  I will keep in touch and let you know what is going on. Sincerely, Eileen

Update: March 1, 2008:
Dear Susan-Just a quick note to let you know that I rode Haijs for the first time yesterday!  What a treat!!    Haijs is a wonderful gentleman and I can't tell you how much I look forward to this wonderful relationship that has already started.  Sincerely, Eileen

Update: July 1, 2008:
Dear Sue, I just wanted to let you know that I took Haijs into the mountains last Saturday.  Doug road his Arab mare Meg and we took our two dogs Booker T(English Mastiff) and Lucilu(Rotweiler) with us.  I was a little nervous because this was the first time out for everyone and I wasn't sure what to expect.  We went about 14 miles in total and everyone did great.  We would take turns leading and there were a few things that Haijs was apprehensive about, but all in all for his first time he did great.  He wasn't too sure about the river-but it is so full of water and running to fast that we just did some water training in big puddles.  I see and feel the trust he is getting for me and I am having a ball with him!!!  Sincerely, Eileen
