Hanno and Eivind during their first brief "solo" in September, 2006.
Hanno, Eivind, and friend Susan during an outing in late September, 2006 (just under four weeks in harness). Photos by Megan Sibiga Congratulations to Eivind from Salem, OR! "My experience with Legacy Friesians in both the USA and Netherlands was, and continues to be, exceptional. They are committed to the breed and make every effort to expand their knowledge through business relationships and associations within the Friesian community. Prior
to actually importing Hanno to the USA, I traveled to the Netherlands to
see other Friesians (as well as the country itself). Sue set
it up so I could visit her business partner, Eric Wulms (the owner of approved
stallion, Ymte 407)
to help me choose my horse. Eric was extremely helpful by reviewing
pedigrees, showing me horses, and making every effort to help me through
the purchase process. His knowledge of the breed is outstanding which
helped to reassure me in my decision to purchase Hanno.
Although I had never imported a horse before, both Sue and Eric where able to reassure me repeatedly throughout this part of the endeavor. They handled all the arrangements from ground and air transport, through quarantine, vet inspections, etc. I have very little to worry about and received a horse in great condition! If you have any questions about my experience with Legacy Friesians and importing horses, please contact Sue and she will let me know how to reach you. I would be more than happy to share additional information with you and answer any questions you may have." Eivind-Erik

Top Pedigree-Fully Papered with FPS/FHANA.
Very big, 1.64 meters (16.1 hands)! Very athletic- great potential
for competition dressage. Already trained to ride and drive.
He was a FPS stallion candidate this year, but did not make the final cut
and so he has been gelded. Inbreeding only 1.9 percent.
