Congratulations
to Marcy and family, of Alabama!!!!
August
28, 2008: Lars just arrived at his new home and I called Marcy to
find out how she likes him and she said:
"Lars
is THE most beautiful horse I have ever seen in my life!!!" "And
his movement- it is just incredible- I thought my other horses were great
movers until I saw Lars. He likes to rest his head on my shoulder
- he is just as sweet as you said. You have to look for another one
for me that is AS beautiful and sweet as Lars because in April I want to
buy another one from you! I'll send photos soon!!"
We'll
start looking- Lars is hard to beat but we have faith we can find one as
nice to be Lars' buddy.
Lars
is a Legacy Friesians imported gelding. He is simply
stunning with hair below his shoulder and a very sweet but curious demeanor.
When riding him, he is very straightforward- if you give him a long rein
he will just stretch his head down and walk happily along.
Lars was the Grand Champion Gelding of the Oregon keuring!
Lars has been on a lot of trail rides and trips to other stables- we like
to take them to new and different places to get them exposed to a lot of
new things. He really did well on his "field trips"- check out the
videos!
Lars was chosen to represent
the Friesian breed this year at the Country Classic on July 12, 2008.
Click on his photo below, see him in action there! He was very well
behaved on this outing- despite all the activity and scary jumps around,
he was very good.
