Maximus is a wonderful 6 year old gelding with a very willing and gentle personality.  He is a joy to be around, stands well in the crossties to be groomed and saddled....lowers his head to have the halter and bridle put on.  Stands like a gentleman for the farrier (we keep him barefoot) We ride him in western and dressage gear. 

When his owners put a western saddle on him, he can drag logs, barrels, etc.  He is not spooky, and would rather investigate everything he sees!  He can be ridden over tarps, with flags, garbage bags, etc.  His owners have done alot of work to be sure he is safe for beginners. 

He has also had extensive trail riding and also loves the water!  His owner has been swimming on him numerous times bareback with just a halter on him.  He is quite simple to ride....he has a big trot, and an excellent canter.  He is very soft in the bridle, and will walk, trot and canter in connection or on the buckle.  More photos and a video are coming very soon!
