Congratulations to Jose, of Silverton, OR!!!  Jose received Steffen on August 2nd, 2005.  He said he was very happy with Steffen and the buying experience with Legacy Friesians.  He plans to be a repeat buyer next year!  Steffen is now living on 45 acres in Mt. Angel, OR.  He was very calm after his long trip from Holland.  It didn't even seem to stress him out at all!  He was eating and drinking as if he was still at home in Holland.  Stop by Jose's restaurant, the Ixtapa Restaurant in Wilsonville and/or Silverton, and congratulate him on his new Friesian colt!  Feel free to ask Jose about his experience with Legacy Friesians!

Steffen was born on 1/14/2005 and got a 2nd premie in his foal keuring.  He has an excellent pedigree:  Sudbook-Ster+Pref-Ster+Pref-Model+pref.  His inbreeding coefficient is only 3.12%

Please note that most Friesian babies have brown coats when born, but it sheds out to jet black, so it is absolutely nothing to worry about!!!!!
