Our Tessa Welmoed is a 5 year old full papered star mare.  She has started her Dressage career and it is clear she is going to be a STAR in the dressage ring as well!

In Tessa's very first recognized dressage show, the judge gave her a 69% in training level test 2, May 2011!
She has already qualified for the Oregon State Championships at training level and first level!
 

In Tessa's 2nd recognized show EVER, at Letter Perfect Dressage, she received a  70.8% in training level test 3, and a 68.4% in first level test 1!   At only 5 years old!  Jane Savoie has critiqued her under saddle, and was very complimentary of her, as are all judges who have seen her so far.  Diane Royce said: "This young horse has a very bright future ahead!" 

Her success has continued at her next show, the most prestigious and competitive show in the area, Dressage at Devonwood.  She actually received a 70.8% from judge Axel Steiner, one of the hardest judges in the USA!!!
She won the absolutely huge, very competitive class by 3 full percentage points !  She is 5 months in foal as well! :

Tessa is forward and fun to ride with a great mind and amazing gaits! 

She is not for sale but her 2012 Doaitsen was, but has now been purchased in Utero by Lynn of Arizona!!! 

We kept her first OUTSTANDING  foal, Harmina LF for ourselves but we can't keep them all, so this foal has to be for sale. Check out Doaitsen's offspring breeding values (below)! Considering Tessa Welmoed is going to be matched with him, you can see why we are SO excited for the foal.

Tessa Welmoed received a 1st premie and was the overall champion of the keuring in Vries last year as a 2 year old. 
Her motherline is fabulous: Ster-Model+Pref-Pref-Model , so she is full papred. 

She got a 1st premie 3 times in a row- as a weanling in St. Nicolaasga, as a 1 year old in Oldeholtpade, and then as a 2 year old in Vries (also winning the best mare of the whole day).   In Monroe, she got a 2nd premie but was also 8 months pregnant and was acting very subdued that day.   Next year we'll present her again.
