Tie
is a beautiful, loving, ster mare that truly stands out in my pasture.
She
is only for sale because I have too many horses and not enough time or
money for them all. If I could keep her as a broodmare I would.
Tie
was bred for the first time in 2010 and gave me a beautiful 2011 Teade
392
filly. She is a fantastic mom. She is protective towards other horses,
but has no problem with other mares and foals, is careful with other mares
foals, has no problem with people handling her foal, etc. Our Warlander
colt even decided he wanted two mothers and drank from her a few times.
She did not want to hurt him, no matter how pushy he was, and eventually
figured out how to tell him no. I let her just be a momma ever since she
was bred, so she is out of shape right now; but now that her filly is just
about weaned I am working with her to get her looking her best again. I
am so happy with the filly she gave me that if I had the space I would
breed her again. She was checked by the vet over the summer in case I wanted
to breed her for
2012
and he gave her a clean bill of health.
Tie
is broke to ride and was ridden dressage up until I decided to breed her
in 2010. She has also been taken on a few trail rides off property and
did fantastic. On her first trail ride at a state park she was taken with
another mare who had also never been trail ridden off property and Tie
was the solid, brave horse that trusted I wouldn't let anything happen
to her.
She
even crossed the water with no problems!
Tie
loves attention and, if she likes you, has been known, on occasion, to
come when you call to her.
