Tije 401 is a striking young stallion with size, a fantastic pedigree, and charisma. He comes from a maternal line with an established breeding history.  Two sisters of his mother (his Aunts) have already produced breeding day champions in Holland. During the trials in Drachten he was one of the best in the show. Tije is suitable for many mares due to his rare blood line.

Unfortunately, he was disapproved on offspring in 2007. 

Disappointing to all his fans!!!  People ask me all the time- WHY does a stallion get disapproved?  It could be the quality of the mares he is bred to.  Even a great stallion can not overcome huge obstacles.  A lot of the young stallions are lucky to get a breeding to any mare as they try to prove themselves.  You have to judge each offspring for yourself.  There are outstanding offspring sired by stallions who were later disapproved.  
 
 

We at Legacy Friesians had a wonderful sale horse by Tije named Joost.  Joost is GORGEOUS and our trainer thought he had excellent movement and FEI potential.

We also had the reserve Champion colt of the Oregon keuring, who was sired by Tije 401, Ziebrand LF!  Ziebrand sold to Ismael Covarrubias, and he said Ziebrand is a very impressive colt, much better than the others he has of the same age.   If all offspring were as good as these 2 that we have seen, we think he'd be approved on Offspring.
