Trienke HB
Jasper 366

Congratulations to Diane of Estacada, Oregon!!!

Hi, Sue!
Trienke is doing just great.  She is a real love.  Her ride home was
uneventful.  She seems to like the dogs too.
Thanks so much,
 Diane

Update Sept 2007:

Hi, Sue
I ended up mailing you a photo of Trienke and myself.
Trienke is doing just great. She is very loving and sweet.  She loves
people.  She had bonded with our old mare Sassie and Sassie was being very
motherly.  Unfortunately Sassie was getting just too old and she decided
to stop eating.  After she was gone we put Trienke in with my gelding. He
is only three so they are having a great time.  They run all over the
place.

To summarize Trienke HB in a few words- it is that she has a remarkably beautiful head, compact build, and a very sweet personality.  If you look at the new video I took of her on December 27, she keeps running back to me to see if I will pet her!

Trienke HB is from stam 13, one of the first stam lines.   Her pedigree goes straight back to the mare Irma 2708, born in 1907... one of the few surviving quality mares that saved the Friesian breed.  Trienke has such a beautiful head with a dished face and kind eye.  She is going to grow up to be an absolutely stunning mare!!!

Trienke's dam is a studbook mare, but she is well on the way to becoming Preferent as her first born just made star at the age of 3 years, and her 2nd born is a 2 and a half year old stallion candidate.   Trienke is the 4th.  Trienke's pedigree is currently:  Stb-Ster-Ster-Ster-Model+Pref-Ster+Pref
But it would turn into
Pref-Ster-Ster-Ster-Model+Pref-Ster+Pref
if Trienke's dam has 4 or more star offspring.  This is considered a full paper pedigree

The combination of Jasper 366 and Brandus is just as good as it gets!!!  Jasper has very long hair and a compact body, and he is known for passing those traits down to his offspring.   Jasper's daughters become star 50 percent of the time- so she has a 1 in 2 chance of becoming star!!!  Brandus offspring are known for their incredible tempraments and beautiful baroque builds.   Jasper's semen is not available frozen, which means his offspring are very rare in the USA.  Jasper's son, Beart 411 won the world championship this year.

A few words about her sire and damsire

Jasper 366
An excellent Friesian stallion with 20% first premie foals and a total of 76% 1st and 2nd premie foals. Semen not available frozen, so if you want one a Jasper you need to find an imported one. Now with 3 outstanding approved sons: Beart 411, Dries 421 & Haitse 425. He tends to produce compact offspring. Many people think he will be the next Preferent stallion.

Look at how close Jasper scores to the IDEAL for most categories- especially the MOVEMENT (below).  And yet you can't breed to Jasper if you live in the USA, so you have to buy an import if you want his offspring!

 Brandus 345
A very important Friesian stallion. He was twice World Champion and was twice Vice Champion including 2003. His movement scores are the best ever seen for an FPS approved Friesian stallion. Stands at stud at Stalhouderij Meyer.
