Wietse

Congratulations to "Charlie" and Madison, of Virginia!  Wietse was transported by Bob Hardy, Crossroads Transport and he arrived in excellent condition.
Update from "Charlie"  Sept 30, 2008:
Hi Sue,

Just wanted to say congradulations on Hindrik, I saw him in Leesburg, Va, wow what a beauty! Some ladies behind  me were talking about him being from Oregon and I had the great pleasure of telling them why and who Hindrik was. Of course, I told them if they were interested in purchasing a Friesian they could contact you. I didn't get a chance to meet Ron but I hope to one of these days. I'm heading to Iron Springs Farm Tuesday and I don't know why, because I have the most beautiful horse in the world right here (Wietse!)!

I, also, ran into Bruce Griffin and introduced myself as the owner of Wietse and he was delighted for me and couldn't say enough nice things about Wietse. Bruce than introduced me to another guy (forgot his name) but he was the one that hauled Wietse from Michigan to his place in Ohio and than to Virginia. Boy, Wietse has made a pile of friends all along the way. Wietse and I may have to do Wietse Christmas cards!

Lots of luck in Florida,

Update from "Charlie"  August 15:

Hi Sue,
...re: Wietse, by the way, he continues to do wonderful....
He really likes kids, he follows my granddaughter all over the place. Looks rather odd, a great big horse and a little kid walking around the pasture.

Hope all is welll at your place,

Update from "Charlie"  after she got him

Wietse is doing great and adjusting to our routines. He seems to be taking a shine to me, I wondered if I remind him of someone?  My Lord, he is big but oh so lovable!
Please convey to Bob Hardy if he needs a place to rest horses and himself, he is welcomed here. Thanks again and I hope you got my last email.
Charlie
