Breaking news- we just heard that winand 405 has passed away.  Our condolences to Iron Spring Farm on the loss of another of their great Friesian stallions.

" Iron Spring Farm- Last weekend Winand 405 passed away at Iron Spring Farm.  Winand was bred by T. Hooijmans in Kerkdriel -Holland and was a son of Pike (Ygram x Lammert) out of the star/preferent Naen daughter  Ulkje H. Winand's grandmother Ilkje ster/preferent, died last year age 32., stam 25. Mary Alice Malone purchased this enchanting Baroque stallion in 2006, after the death of Sytse. Winand is in the middle of his offspring testing and there's still a chance he'll get approved on offspring. "
